How much do movers cost in the Bay Area?

Your cost depends on the size of your home, how much you're moving, and the access at both locations. We don't pad hours or add surprise charges — every rate is explained before you book, and the rates we quote are the rates you pay. Call or text Daniel for an honest estimate for your specific move.

Are you a moving broker, or do you combine my move with other people's?

Neither. OCD is a Customer Exclusive moving service — your belongings travel on their own truck, with the same full-time OCD crew, straight to your new home. We never combine loads, never use brokers or outside contractors, and never sell or share your information.

Do you charge extra for stairs, long carries, or mileage?

No. We never charge extra for stairs, long carries, or miles, and there are no hidden fees. We're fully compliant with California laws and regulations, US-DOT #2597230 and CAL-T #0191594, CARB and ELD compliant.

What's included free with my move?

On door-to-door moves we include basic valuation protection, all furniture disassembly and reassembly, shrink-wrap and moving blankets, TV protection and removal from walls or stands, glass and hardwood floor protection, loaner wardrobe boxes for hanging clothes, and placement of every item where you want it — all free. Packing boxes and the materials to pack them are the only added cost.

Do you require a deposit to book?

No deposit is required to reserve your move date. Just call or text Daniel to get on the calendar.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all debit and credit cards with a 3% processing fee, and cash with no fee to avoid the card charge. You can combine cash and card. We're not able to accept Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal, and we never automatically add gratuity — tipping is always at your discretion.

Are OCD Moving Services licensed and insured?

Yes — OCD is fully licensed and insured, US-DOT #2597230 and CAL-T #0191594, CARB and ELD compliant. Basic valuation protection is included free on every move.
